Entirely carved of a single piece of wood, exceptional detail and anatomy on the fox (missing tip of one ear) with long bushy tail and cautious but stealth pose. It seems obvious there was once a lid (see inner recess ledge for one) and likely for a pipe smoker's pouch and matches. Perfect now to display or to serve any size
