In December 2014, the members of the Eliminating Child Labour in Tobacco Growing Foundation (ECLT Foundation),[170] an industry-supported multi-stakeholder initiative based in Geneva, signed a joint pledge of commitment to combat child labor and to eliminate all forms of child labor within tobacco-sourcing chains.[171] The pledge states, ECLT Foundation Board members respect and recognize the principles and rights enshrined in the ILO Conventions and Recommendations on child labour.
