Today I was in the area and thought about photographing the same scene without the snow

This tower sits 162 feet high and provides views of the Denver area from the location of the school near City Park

Located about a mile east of Downtown Denver

Observatory Park in the Winter Size:16"x20" Today I was in theThe Chamberlin Observatory is located at Observatory Park near the University of Denver. The observatory originally opened in 1890 and features a 20 inch refracting telescope. As a late January snow fell on the city I was out exploring new locations to photograph in the snow and found myself at the park. The flakes filled the sky and made the park into a snow globe feel on a day when the observatory itself would also just need to enjoy the scene.
