Depending on the vintage the wines may be from different AVAs. In earlier releases this wine was referred to as Black Label Claret. On the nose concentrated fruit aromas of cassis and blackberry with additional hints of redcurrant as well as black pepper and liquorice. On the palate powerful and full bodied, flanked by fine sturdy tannin and ripe acidity. Hints of plum
