Bolero Spania Printed Copy:Bolero Spania DC From measures 29 through 45This is the last of a group of challenging compositions written for nine players. This number was composed to introduce the eighth sixteenth note triplet pattern of Ravel's famous Bolero. Due to the difficulty of patterns, this composition was written for the high school or older middle school student. Mallet parts include rolls, sixteenth notes, and triplets with a bolero feel. The tempo is andante with the tambourine introducing the bolero rhythm.
