As reviewed above, my advice there is generally to get some good body weights by stepping on the scale, take some really good photos and then stop the dose for a while and then restart - again with lots of photos and lots of body weight measurements
Second, in-depth investigation is needed to elucidate the mechanisms by which microbiota-derived metabolites, such as short-chain fatty acids, influence diabetic nephropathy via immune and oxidative stress pathways, thereby facilitating the clinical translation of probiotics or microbiota transplantation
