Antique American Portrait Miniature, c.1800, ID'd and Artist Noted in Oyster Frame writer's We change out the onesAnother American portrait miniature from my collection, this handsome distinguished gentleman is ID's in back, noting him to be "James Woodhouse" from New York, who died in 183 something (I didn't open the back, which seems complicated, and can only read what you see). It would appear that an artist's name is also mentioned as "W. Jarvin". I'm able to find a James Woodhouse but he's a generation older. A Dr in Pennsylvania, he died in 1809. It might
