After a day of snowshoeing up the road I was heading back and stopped at the west end of Lake McDonald just after sunset

I fought the urge to sleep in and woke up in time to capture the first sunrise over Denver

they ended up playing the them again in the playoffs

I was looking for a different vantage point for this scene and as I was walking through Civic Center park noticed how it was possible to capture the lights through the trees. The folded card is 5"x7" and the inside of the holiday card has the greeting: Happy Holidays
