Rare Antique French Wax Seal, Paper Knife or Letter Opener, Vermeil Blade, Matrix, and Banded Agate Handles pencil A fabulous desk or writingA stunning fine desk set, 2 pieces: antique French . 800 1000 pure silver (boar's head mark) with 18k gold layer (vermeil) desk pieces to include both the 8 5 8" long letter opener or paper knife, and the monogrammed wax seal. Each with a perfect handle in carved agate. The 2 pieces are just elegant, preserved with the 18k gold coating on fine silver quite fully intact. They look like gold. You have to find the tiny French mark (boar's head profile)
