Antique French Hand Painted Portrait Miniature, Woman with Book, Mme Du Barry tantalus The Napoleonic eagle and "N"This is noted on back as being Mme Du Barry, here in a casual pose with a book and an informal yellow gown with lace bodice scarf. The extra large size is impressive (see our final image) and three is no loss or damage to the painting. The painting is signed to the far right edge at the 3 o'clock position, but I can't make it out. It's shown very large and clearly for your review. I suspect this is a copy "apres" reproduction of a more full sized
