Live at the ‘It Club’ (Blue Note, 1970, LP) Longsleeve I’m super excited to shareThe Three Sounds waren een van de meest productieve Blue Note acts. Onder leiding van pianist Gene Harris was het geluid van het trio in 1970 gevolueerd met een nieuwe bezetting, waaronder bassist Henry Franklin en drummer Carl Burnett. De blues en gospelwortels waren er nog steeds, maar het ritme had een funkier randje zoals te horen op de opzwepende live opname Live at the It Club.
